Clare’s Shoes is situated on Springwell Street Ballymena, right beside Linton’s Motorcycle showroom, with lots of parking available just across the street in the Tower Centre car park.
It’s great to see people taking the opportunity to open new businesses in Ballymena and Silvia, the owner of Clare’s Shoes, is one of those who have taken the step. Clare’s Shoe’s was opened a few months ago when Silvia saw a gap in the market for good quality footwear but at keen, value for money prices and an opportunity to bring Ballymena customers something new in footwear. Now the shop is filled with all types of shoes, boots and accessories. They specialize in size 3 (19) for babies – right up to size 6 (39), so primarily aimed at the huge children’s market but also suitable for teenagers and adults with smaller feet.
Almost all of the products on display in Clare’s Shoes are made in Bucharest, Romania by PJshoes. PJshoes are made of real leather and other high quality materials. As they say on their website “Our products allow kids to play, run and to be adventurous, while still expressing their personality.” Durable but with soft insoles for comfort. Especially popular at this time of the year are boots, sturdy outdoor shoes and Wellingtons.
A quick look on their Facebook page and you’ll see some very positive comments not only about the quality of the footwear but what’s equally important – the level of great customer service offered here. You can also find out details on their Facebook page of how you can get involved in a great Christmas competition they’re running.
With children’s feet growing so fast it’s expensive keeping them in proper fitting shoes but the footwear at Clare’s Shoes doesn’t cost the earth. So whether it’s new boots or Wellingtons for the winter weather or new shoes for all the Christmas parties coming up, Clare’s Shoes on Springwell Street Ballymena is certainly well worth a visit.
