Hillstown Farmshop is an award winning farm shop outside Ballymena. Located on the Glebe Road near Ahoghill the Hillstown Farmshop is a family run enterprise which also sell their produce at a stall at St. George’s Market in Belfast every Saturday.
Hillstown Farm have kept cattle and pigs on their land for 4 generations and over time have added sheep, chickens, ducks and Llamas – strawberry and shortcake. Hillstown Farmshop sell home produced products which include – dry aged beef, lamb,rare breed pork and free range chickens and eggs. They have combines their homegrown produce with the best of local fruit and veg to create special local meals which are available from their onsite restaurant – The Kitchen at Hillstown. The chef also prepares tasty meals and desserts.
They also host regular Steak nights which have become a sell out event! They also have a cute menu especially for Valentines day which includes a romantic sharing platter and chocolate dipped strawberries.
