Portglenone Community Rescue Service will be holding their annual fundraising day in Ballymena at the end of February. The community group is made up of volunteers who give their time for free to train and help out in emergency situations.
Portglenone Community Rescue Service offer an invaluable service providing rural and urban search, water rescue and community support and education. Based in Portglenone, they work throughout Northern Ireland. They rely upon volunteers who provide support for searches and water rescue.

Because the team are all volunteers it is necessary for the Portglenone Community Rescue Service to hold fundraisers to raise money for much needed resources and equipment. On Saturday 28th February the team will be on the streets in Ballymena giving the public the opportunity to give money to this great cause. So grab your loose change and bring it along with you at the end of February to support the local volunteers who make up the Portglenone Community Rescue Service.
