The British Red Cross in partnership with Mid and East Antrim Borough Council and other statutory agencies are holding a series of events in Ballymena to help you prepare for any potential future flooding incidents.
The first event will be a community roadshow in the Slemish n tha Braid Credit Union, Queen Street, Ballymena on Saturday 05th December 2015. Come along anytime from 10am to 12pm. On the day, you can:
• Find out about flood risk in your area.
• Learn about new insurance and property protection schemes.
• Hear more about the training workshops British Red Cross will soon be offering.
• Receive guidance on steps you can take now to prepare for flooding.
• Have your say on what you think your community needs to be resilient to flooding.
• Receive a Household Flood Plan and information on building a Community Emergency Plan.
