During each week of Advent churches in Ballymena will be opening their doors to welcome people to a time of reflection. Advent is the four weeks which lead up to Christmas and each Wednesday people in Ballymena will have the opportunity stop for a quiet moment. The event is being run by the Ballymena Church Members Forum.
Ballymena Church Members Forum is having the annual series of Advent Reflections in the 4 weeks of Advent prior to Christmas. The services are on Wednesdays at lunchtime – from 12.30 to 13.15 so that anyone in Ballymena either having a lunch break or just shopping can drop in. The churches involved are St Patrick’s C of I on 2nd December, West Church Presbyterian on 9th December, Ballymena Methodist on 16th December and All Saints RC church on 23rd December. These Advent Reflections are part of a project called Our Shared Community – Promoting Good Relations in Ballymena which has been partially funded by OFMDFM through the Good Relations Unit of Mid and East Antrim Borough Council.
