Whether it is your wedding day and you want the perfect bridal make up, or if it is your birthday night out or a school formal – the right make up can make you look and feel great.
Make up is like fashion and each new year there are new products colours and looks to get excited about. If you are heading to a big event soon and have booked a beautician to do your make up, or are doing it yourself at home with your mates here are some of the new trends which you should be trying to incorporate.
1/ Apple Red Lip – Red lips are always a fashion staple but this spring it will come back fresh, youthful and exciting. Apple red is a step away from vampy, matt formulas and you should be looking the perfect warm shade in a satin finish. Pair red lips with minimal eye make up and a fresh glowy foundation.
2/ Blue eyes – Blue eyeliner is not an easy look to pull off, even some of the runway models sporting this look on the catwalks looked a bit odd. However you can embrace this trend by leaving you normal black eyeliner down and swapping it for a gentler navy shade. It will brighten your eyes and will be a subtle change to your make up routine.
3/ Beautiful Bronze – This winter was all about contouring and highlighting but as we head toward spring and summer make up will be made easy again – no more painting lines on you face and blending until your wrist hurts. This year just invest in a golden bronzer and a big soft brush which you can just swirl over your face. Just be careful not to over do it.
4/ Add another coat of Mascara – Mascara is always a great idea as it opens eyes up and can make you look awake and alert. This year find your perfect formula – one that curls and lengthens and then pile it on. Always curl your eyelashes before putting mascara on and add loads of layers.
