Gourmet Tea and Coffee World has recently opened on Greenvale Street, Ballymena. Here you’ll find a fantastic range of loose leaf teas, coffee beans and loads of gift ideas for yourself and your tea & coffee loving friends.
Thanks to more and more choice of teas and coffees being offered in the many coffee shops we visit these days, it’s probably fair to say most of us have got more adventurous with what we drink. It’s estimated that in the UK we get through 165 million cups of tea and 70 million cups of coffee per day! At Gourmet Tea and Coffee World you have an incredible selection to choose from.
We asked Erika to name her best sellers. She said, “As far as coffee is concerned we have beans from Colombia, Peru and Thailand. All of which sell really well. People in Ballymena are also very keen to try our flavoured beans with many people returning to order more. Some of our flavoured beans include Irish Cream, Happy Hazelnut, Turkish Honey. Or for something very different you could try Cinnamon Plum.
As you would expect our English and Irish Breakfast teas are big sellers but again we have loads of customers who want something different! Over the summer, popular flavoured teas included fruit teas like melon, peach & cherry but I expect as the weather gets colder people will turn to more spicy flavours like cinnamon.
We also have lots of customers who see the health benefits of drinking herbal and green teas. So we offer a good range of these as well. So mint, camomile, ginger, Chinese green and Mate teas are all available.
What we are really happy about is that our customers are willing to try something new. But I will give you the best advice I can as I want you to come back for more!” smiled Erika.
Both the loose tea and coffee, sold either as whole beans or ground if needed, are available in either 100g or 200g bags.
Also in the shop is a fantastic range of accessories and gift ideas. Accessories include the items you’ll need to make the perfect cuppa like filters, infusers, measuring spoons and sugar sticks. Gift ideas include tea pots and cafetieres. Really unique tea tins, teapot and cup sets, mugs and lots more.
