This weekend there are lots of things to do in and near Ballymena. Here are a few our our favourite event which should keep you busy this weekend.
Hillstown Farmshop Fun Day
Come along on Saturday 19th August and join in with our fun on the farm day. Hillsotwn Farmshop is located on the Glebe Road and offers a great days entertaining for any wanna-be farmers. You can meet the animals, have fun on our bouncy castle, have a ride on the farm train, be part of our pig chasing competition and take a look at our tractors.
We have competitions, a barbecue and food for all – and lots and lots of fun.
Entry is free, so grab yer boots and join us for fun on the farm!
Mid Antrim Animal Sanctuary Summer Open Day
On Saturday 19th August from 11am -2pm head to the Mid Antrim Animal Sanctuary to enjoy their fun day. There will be lots to entertain the kids, a variety of stalls and a brilliant dog show where we will judge the best costume and best in show! Adults entry costs £2 and kids are £1. All money raised goes to the work of the sanctuary.
Causeway Coast Truck Fest
The Causeway Coast Truck fest and family fun day will start at 10:00 at the NW200 Pits in Portstewart. In the afternoon you can enjoy the Truck Convoy which goes around the NW200 circuit. This starts at 4pm.
On Sunday 20th August over 300 Show trucks will compete for prizes for the best trucks and fleet. there will be lots of local food, trade stalls and a craft village.
Country Star Lee Matthews will make his Causeway Coast Truck Fest Debut on Sunday 20 August with his full band. Other entertainers include:
- The Simple Truth Band
- Alastair Coyles
- Brian Moore
All donations in aid of the air ambulance Northern Ireland.
