In Ballymena we know that people love make up. We have compiled some of our favourite make up trends and products into this blog post to outline the Autumn Make up Trends in Ballymena this year.
Naked Smoky Eyes
Vloggers have enjoyed testing the new cult make up palette, one of our favourite videos was uploaded by beauty blogger Kathleen Lights which shows off the palette and how to use it. I’m not sure if I would call the Smoky eye and easy look to achieve but this tutorial should help you to be on-trend. Click here to see the tutorial and have a go.
So smoky eyes are undoubtably a big trend for the Autumn 2015. The Naked Smoky eye palette is available from the Urban Decay counter in Debenhams in the Fairhill Shopping centre and costs £38.
Berry lips – Grunge style
A good tip is to investigate matt lip colour in deep shades. If you decide to use a matt lip colour then remember to use a good lip balm to condition your lips to avoid a dried out lip look. We recommend the Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet lipstick in the shade Grand Cru which you can pick up from Boots in the Fairhill or the Tower Centre in Ballymena. (Photo Source)
Bronze Eyes
Bronzer is normally confined to the summertime to give us a healthy glow but this Autumn new bronzes will be creeping their way into our make up kits. Beauty Vlogger Tanya Burr shows us her version of the Bronze eye in the tutorial below.
Tanya Burr also has her own range of make up with Superdrug. Her latest range is due in store today and includes eyeshadow trios, lip glosses, nail polishes, eye lashes and a brow palette. Click here to find out more and visit the Tower Centre to see the range in Superdrug. Pick up a bronze eye shadow trio along with her dark berry red lip gloss and you will ace two trends in one trip!
Pink Healthy Cheeks
Pink blushers can be tricky as the formula or powder can often look like a hot pink which would be too bright for any skin tone – but that is why you need to head to the make up counter for samples and advice. For example Christian Dior do an amazing range of premium blushers which look outrageously pink in the compact but actually give a healthy pinky glow when applied. (Photo Source)
Don’t just take our word for it, because this is an expensive product we suggest that you head to the Dior counter at Camerons of Ballymena on Broughshane Street and try it for yourself.
Remember that these are just tips and often the best make up look is one which is unfussy and natural looking. These trends can be adapted and tweaked to suit your lifestyle and we recommend wearing each trend separately as trying two together would become overwhelming!
Ballymena also have lots of boutiques and salons who will give you a whole new look. Book your self an appointment before a big event or just tell them that you would like to refresh your make up routine and the professionals can show you what is best for you skin type and colouring. Let us at Ballymena Today know about your favourite Autumn make up trends.
