Ballymena Academy Old Pupil’s Association Cycle Sportive has been planned for later this month after a successful event last year.

The Cycle Sportive which is in its second year aims to raise funds for the National Autistic Society and will depart from the Academy at 10am on Saturday 7th May, registration opens at 9.30am. The 40 mile round trip will take in Galgorm, Ballymoney, Dunloy, Glarryford, Dunminning and there will be refreshments along the way and post race. Prizes will be awarded to the first cyclist home and also the best turned out cyclist.
Ballymena Academy is located on the Galgorm Road in Ballymena. The Academy has 88 acres of mature ground situated on the Galgorm Road just west of the town centre. The Old Pupil’s Association has been in place for many years and is enjoyed by lots of former pupils both young and old.
