The Ballymena Show has returned for another excellent year. The Ballymena Show will run this year from Friday 27th May until Saturday 28th May. The schedule is jam packed as always.
Farming is an important vocation in Ballymena and our town has hosted the agricultural Show for many years. The Ballymena Show holds lots of great memories for many locals – who remembers getting out of school half day on a Wednesday to attend? Good times!
Here is what you can expect to see this year:
On Friday from 10.30am – Horse Jumping / Ponies(WH) and from 4pm – Trade Exhibits, Sheep Shearing, Poultry & Crafts.

Saturday brings the Main Day of Show which includes everything from Cattle, Sheep, Goats, Horses, Ponies, Poultry Crafts, and Baking

- Floral Art demonstrations
- Speciality Foods,
- Amusements and more!

Agricultural Shows are famous for the promotion of ‘Crafts’ and Ballymena show has a tradition of working with local schools, Womens Institutes, YFCs, Homes and Day Centres to display the talents of the local people with Baking, Needlework, Crafts, Photography, Painting, Poetry and Flower Arranging.
