Ballymena is a great place to shop for Women’s Fashions. Recently we had friends who drove all the way from Newry to visit and they were blown away by the variety of fashion boutiques and shops for them to browse. After a day in Ballymena town centre they had made quite a few purchases and were planning their next trip!
Here are some of the shops that we wouldn’t miss on a good shopping trip to Ballymena.
Primrose Boutique
Primrose Boutique sell women’s fashions in Ballymena and are located on Greenvale Street. Greenvale street is pedestrianised and is in the centre of town close to the multi-story carpark. If you park in the multi-storey carpark you can enjoy 5 hours parking for £1. That gives you plenty of trying on time!
Primrose Boutique specialises in outfits for a special night out, wedding or occasion. Here are some of the beautiful ladies who found their perfect outfit in Primrose! All photos below are form the Primrose Fashion Facebook Page which you can follow here and you can read their very own blog (which we love) on their website.
Marmalade Clothing
On the other side of Greenvale Street is another pretty and quirky women’s fashion shop call Marmalade Clothing. It is hard to miss – just look for the pink shopfront! Again we recommend a trip to Marmalade if you have a wedding coming up, or a big occasion. However they also stock more wearable shirts, jumpers and jackets too. Just take a look below.
Find out more about Marmalade Clothing by visiting their Facebook page. All photos above have been take from the Marmalade Clothing Facebook page.
And that is just tow of our local ballymena fashion boutiques. You can also head up to Ballymoney Street to Couples who sell a wide range of clothing for event, work and play. They cater for a large age range, stock a wide range of Robell stretch trousers and also stock plus size labels including Mat. Ballymena also is home to Fred Funk Shoes which is always busy and full of gorgeous shoes, trainers and accessories and Just which is on Broughshane Street opposite Cameron’s.
And if you still are looking for more on the same street you will find Clockwork. Read all about this new store here – it is unique to Ballymena.
So put Ballymena on your list of places to visit if your wardrobe needs a little pick me up. We have only covered a handful of our brilliant fashion stores and haven;t even touched on the big name store in the Fairhill Shopping Centre or the Tower Centre. There is lots of choice for everyone in Ballymena.
