If you’re free on Friday 17th March then you might want to consider going to the St Patrick’s Family Fun Day in Broughshane. The village, just a few miles from Slemish, has an action packed day planned for all the family. The Raceview Mill complex, Broughshane Community Association and Mid & East Antrim Borough Council have worked together to put on the day’s activities and entertainment.
Food & Craft Market
Raceview Mill will be the venue for a special St Patrick’s Day market. The Mill complex is hosting a food & craft market with around 40 traders already signed up. Also there will be FREE entertainment for the children and live music. This all happens in and around the market hall from 11:00am – 3:00pm. Raceview is a dog friendly venue so feel free to bring the furry members of your family too. Check out more about this special market on Facebook here.
Climb Slemish
While you’re there why not join hundreds of others and climb Slemish. A shuttle bus service will operate on St Patrick’s Day from both Raceview Mill and Buckna Church. Click here for more details about this on the Mid & East Antrim Council website.
Shopping
Many of the businesses at Raceview and in Broughshane village will have special offers available throughout the day. Check out the flyers above and below. It includes most, if not all, of the coffee shops in Broughshane, so a good opportunity to relax after the climb!
So all in all a super day of entertainment, walking, shopping, music, relaxing and more will be on offer. Why not go if you’re free to St Patrick’s Family Fun Day in Broughshane? #sharetheconversation
