Ballymena Lawn Tennis Club Ladies Open Day is on 30th June 2018 from 1:00pm-3:00pm.
Ladies….this is your opportunity to play some tennis at the courts in Ballymena Academy. The club will give you a warm welcome regardless of whether you’re a beginner, intermediate or advanced tennis player. Barry Clarke, BLTC Head Coaching Director told us, “The Ladies Open Day is the first in a series of events planned to invite and welcome more Ballymena people to play tennis. This will be a terrific event which we hope attracts many ladies from the local community.”
There will be several activities which you can get involved in. These include Cardio Tennis, Group Coaching, Basket Drills, Fun Games and a Match Court. Also there will be 5 courts available and supervised by Ballymena Lawn Tennis Club coaches, volunteers and members.
If you go to the Ladies Open Day and decide you would like to play tennis on a more regular basis, there’s good news for you. The Club will have special membership deals on offer for all those attending the day. So why not go along and give it a go!
Barry added, “Ballymena Lawn Tennis Club prides itself in being one of the biggest tennis clubs in the local area, with over 80 juniors and 50 senior members. We area a community tennis club and we look to include everyone in all activities which are provided.
This summer our Club are launching two initiatives with the hope of getting more adults, especially ladies, playing tennis. They are called ‘Live, Love, Laugh & Tennis @ BLTC’ & ‘Keep Fit While Having a Hit’.”
