Ballymena is set to welcome Johnny Cash this September. Well not the man himself but on of the greatest tributes around is heading to the Braid Arts Centre in Ballymena on 1st September. Its the perfect way to enjoy your final weekend of the summer.
‘HELLO, I’m not Johnny Cash’ ‘Cash Returns’– has been hailed the greatest and most exciting Johnny Cash & June Carter Tribute in the UK and Ireland by fans nationwide.
Johnny Cash fans will be able to walk the line once again with the award winning show at The Braid Arts Centre, in Ballymena, on Saturday September 1, for what is set up to be a very special evening.
Cash Returns’ very own ‘Johnny Cash’ played by JP Mac has received high praise by Johnny Cash’s very own drummer of forty years Mr WS ‘Fluke’ Holland who said: “If anyone hears JP Mac they will know why he is an award winning Johny Cash act – I would like to see this guy play in person,” on his Tennessee based radio station show.
With upcoming national TV appearances scheduled later this year the show also picked up ‘Best Tribute Band’ at 2016’s ‘Hot Country TV Awards’.
JP brings his uncanny man in black mannerisms and deep baritone vocal to the stage along with newcomer Kim Crumley as June Carter.
Kim brings all the vibrancy and onstage sassiness of June Carter complete with fantastic voice.
Backing them will be their fantastic live band who create that original unmistakable sound that will transport their audiences to a place when Cash & Carter reigned supreme that still resonates with young and old alike today.
Expect to hear hit tracks ‘Folsom Prison Blues’, ‘A Boy Named Sue’, ‘Hurt’, ‘Ring Of Fire’, ‘Ghostriders In The Sky’, ‘Jackson’, and many more!
