Dogs Trust have recently launched The Houndway Code road safety campaign. As dog owners take to their cars over this August Bank Holiday, new research has revealed that more than two thirds of dog owners regularly travel with their dog unrestrained in the passenger seat. Dementia Carers Support Course in Cullybackey

A dementia carers support course in Cullybackey will soon be taking place over 4 consecutive Wednesday evenings. This gives people living in Cullybackey, who are caring for someone with dementia, an opportunity to learn more about the condition and how it affects people. This series of free courses are being run by Alzheimer’s Society throughout the Northern Trust area. We were really pleased to hear that the Alzheimer’s Society has opened a new office in Cullybackey. This facility will give local people and their families who are affected by dementia, an opportunity to access much needed support. The next Slemish Market Supper Club is on Saturday 2nd September 2017 starting at 7:30pm. The venue for this one is Springwell & Thomas Coffee, Springwell Street, Ballymena BT43 6AT.
