Raceview Mill Food and Craft Market

The next Raceview Mill Food and Craft Market will be held on Saturday 28th January 2017 from 11:00am to 3:00pm. This month’s market is being run in support of The Northern Ireland Hospice. This is the first of many markets planned at the Raceview Mill complex in Broughshane which will take place throughout the year. As always there will be many artisan food stalls as well as art and craft traders too. A great place to support small local businesses. There’s also an onsite coffee shop – The Red Brick Coffee House, where you can relax and have a chat. Also many of the Mill’s permanent businesses will be open on the day. Alzheimer’s Society | Training For Informal Caregivers

Do you support someone with dementia? If the answer is yes, then the Alzheimer’s Society is running a very helpful training course for you. The Alzheimer’s Society in Antrim and Ballymena area are running a six week course entitled ‘Training for Informal Caregivers’. It will be held in Ballymena North Business and Recreation Centre. Starting on Tuesday 17th January 2017 it will begin each week at 2:00pm. The programme is designed to improve knowledge, skills and understanding of those who support and care for someone living with dementia. A singing workshop is being held on Saturday 14th January which will lead to the beginning of a new community choir in Ballymena.
