Quest Screen Printing Ballymena

We called with Quest Screen Printing Ballymena to ask Jason, the owner of the business, some questions about screen printing and his own Ballymena screen printing business in particular. First was the obvious question – what is screen printing?  Jason says, “Screen printing is simply a method of printing text, logos or graphics onto clothes, textiles or paper using stencil images on silk screens. The ink is pressed through the open mesh area of a silk screen using a squeegee and blade. The ink is then cure dried using heat so that solidifies and dries into the fabric.” What can your customers have screen printed? “Screen printing is a process which can be used to print onto most materials eg. t-shirts are probably the most obvious but we also print onto hoodies and sports clothing, bags, paper & card – in fact anything which is flat and will hold the ink.” Quest Screen Printing Ballymena have worked for the following – Local coffee shops and restaurants. Sports clubs and gyms. Weddings – including personalised t-shirts for hen & stag parties. School & universities. Promotional clothing and stationary for events. Local bands. Any group or individual who needs branded or personalised clothing or other items. Is there a story behind the choice of name – Quest? “Yes, definitely. I wanted a business name which meant something to me. I had worked...

What we really love about The Parlour Coffee Shop Broughshane is that it’s open right through to 11.00pm each night! Being only 3 miles or so from Ballymena, The Parlour is an ideal place to go to relax in the evening, enjoy some of  the treats all baked on the premises, as well as have a coffee and a chat. Opening hours are – Tuesday to Saturday 11.00am – 11.00pm & closed Sundays and Mondays. We asked the owners, Joanne & Mark, what were the best sellers at The Parlour, Broughshane. “Our ice cream sundaes are extremely popular. We sell 18 flavours of Morellis ice cream including a diabetic friendly option. Our desserts, all made on the premises are also very popular, with many customers coming in to take them home for their after dinner dessert.
