Ballymena Today Youth Team at Flossy Treats

The Ballymena Today Youth team have been out and about in Ballymena. Recently one member had the chance to visit Flossy Treats with her friends for a great birthday Chocolate workshop! For my very last ever birthday treat I wanted to something that was fun, entertaining and different – so I decided that some of my friends and I would go to ‘Flossy Treats’. None of us had never been before so this was our very first time, but we really enjoyed it. When we had all arrived we all had to wash out hands…little did we know that they were...

Many folks in Ballymena are deciding which GCSE’s they should choose as they move from Year 10 to Year 11. Over to Elizabeth; I am at that time of the year, when I am getting millions of talks and leaflets on GCSEs and, with the amount of information I have been given, I hope I will be able to pass some of my knowledge onto you. Ballymena Today Youth Team – What to Wear

Our Ballymena Today Team provide another great article to help you know what to wear for every eventuality. Take it away Elizabeth. . . . . Men – you can tune off now. I have a feeling that this blog won’t apply to you because “I don’t know what to wear!” I know for a fact that I have said this phrase many of times in my life; and now that it is no longer ‘shorts and sandal’ season, “I have no idea what to wear” – even though I have a whole wardrobe full of clothes. Most of my clothes are probably crumpled up in a ball in my drawers somewhere. If you can relate to this I would stay tuned and read this article. Clothes are reusable It’s shocking isn’t it? You can actually wash your clothes and wear them again, and again, and again until they are too small, worn out or so stained that you have to throw them out. I know I think about this sometimes when I am going out with my friends, but to tell you the truth, they probably won’t even notice if you have worn that top 2 days in a row. So make sure that you don’t just wear something once and never again. Night out Going for a fancy night out with your friends? – or even a guy?...

Therefore I have decided to give you some advice on how you could write an essay. Step 1 Introduction – drop the reader straight into the action. Essays should always start with a good introduction, especially the first sentence as that will determine whether the reader finds it interesting enough to read the rest of the essay. The introduction shouldn’t be too long but should get straight to the point or issue as quickly as possible. It should indicate what the essay is about, the reason for writing it and any personal opinions that will interest the reader. In the introduction you do not need to give too much information away – save that for the main part of essay. Step 2 Paragraph – this is the main body of your essay. You should pack this with most of the information. If you don’t understand something look it up, but make sure that you don’t copy and paste – that is a really bad habit that you could get sucked into, and believe it or not, the teachers know...
